Happy Holidays!

Holy massive followers Batman!

Let me first say how shocked and excited I am right now. Last night I was making some alterations and adjustments to my blog, and I noticed that the subscriber section said I have 97 subscribers! I’m super excited about that. Yes, I said excited, I lead such an interesting life right? Haha. Seriously, thank you to all of you who have subscribed! I really appreciate it.

Now onto more ramblings.

I meant to get on here at Christmas and wish you all a merry Christmas. But seeing as that boat has sailed, I’ll have to settle for:

Happy New Year!

Here is the best picture of Ally I have, and that’s my niece holding her.

My Christmas was pretty good. Even better because it was Ally’s first Christmas! She was dressed in the cutest Santa suit! Do I have a picture of her in it? Nope. She was being passed around like a hot potato, so the only pictures I have are blurry. I’m probably going to dress her in it again over the weekend and take a picture. Just don’t warn Ally. She got some good presents, some toys and clothes. It was a perfect Christmas. Probably the best I’ve had in a while. Although I wish I could say the same for my mom.

Ok now, don’t give me that look, you knew something sad was coming. I may have mentioned in passing about my Granny’s health condition. Well last week it got worse. She is now bed ridden and needs to be watched all the time. This means my mom had to stay at my Granny’s while everyone else left to celebrate the festivities. I wasn’t going to leave mom hanging like that. So we brought her some food and hung out for a while. I think it helped both mom and Granny. It’s sad to see ones you love in pain and there is nothing you can really do to help them. All I can do is come by and visit and hope that is enough to cheer them up, if only temporarily. I’ll be making a separate post with more details about Granny later this upcoming week.

How about a lighter topic to break the tension?

I was going to talk about the whole Ocean Marketting vs Penny Arcade, but that guy has gotten enough hassle and besides, in the world of the Internet, it’s pretty much old news now. I will say that I was impressed with the way the entire gaming community came together to bash Paul. It might have had something to do with the fact that everyone on the Internet likes to give other people crap and this gave them a legitimate excuse. But I’d like to believe that it was more of “if you wrong one of us, you wrong us all” type thing. Makes it seem more noble. However I heard they were harassing his wife and bringing his newborn baby into it all. That is not ok. You should never bring an innocent baby into any type of drama. Never. And for that, I am ashamed to think any part of the gaming community would stoop that low. I’ve said my piece on that matter and I’ll leave it alone now.

I’m sitting here waiting at Alfred Angelo for the bride Robyn to come and put me in my dress. We shall see what I will look like in it later. She has good taste though, so I’m trying not to be worried. I did spy a sign on the window of this place that says “Bella’s Twilight gown here!” it rewarded an instant *facepalm*.

Well hi Edward and Jacob, please tell me you’re not fighting over Bella’s dress.

Well until next time my friends, have a happy new year! Next time I’ll be posting a topic about girls, gaming, and a YouTube video that is getting a bad wrap.
