Hello there, friends! More exciting things happening in the world of Sam. Remember when I mentioned that I was a community manager for Talking About Games? Well, it’s gotten even better. I was asked to be a host on the Talking About Gamers podcast! Sure these things may sound silly to some, and it may be even sillier for me to be so excited about them, but I am absolutely thrilled. I really do love video games and the whole gaming community, and these things just let me embrace that and be more involved with it all. Sure I have been a little apprehensive with it all, I don’t want to intrude on anything. But I think I am going to try to be a bit more outgoing with it. If I cross any lines, I’m sure they’ll tell me. Who knows, maybe the podcast will help with Likes and Followers for TAG. Our first recording will be this Sunday. I am excited and nervous. I hope I do a good job. I better start playing a few new games so I can be up to speed on it all.
Currently I am playing a few games. Too many actually. I’m working on Assassins Creed Revelations, Mass Effect 1, Gears 3 (finished, but I can never turn down multiplayer), Alan Wake, Warp, LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, and a few other arcade games. I am hoping to catch up on some old games I missed out on, but there are just soo many. Ideally I would like to knock out at least a game a week. But that may not be possible considering I am also trying to teach myself coding. Seems like a lot to do. I am thinking I need to come up with a schedule so that I can accomplish more during the day. Or maybe, I could just not sleep. Ever. Yeah, I think I like that idea.
In other news, Ally is trying so hard to walk. She is such a big girl, it’s hard to believe that she is already 10 months! I need to start planning her birthday, it’ll be here before I know it. I really think she will be walking before the end of the month. She walks along everything, and she has this push toy that she hauls butt with. It’s amazing to watch her walk across the living room. She gets brave and even takes a few unassisted steps on her own when walking along the couch. I’m so proud of her. We had a pretty good Easter too. We just went to my dads and then my moms, but everyone loved seeing Ally. I had a dress for her to wear, but since it was raining, I just put her in a cute comfy outfit. Though she did get to wear her dress with the Easter bunny. She liked the Easter bunny, he was so fuzzy and she laughed and had fun. I love my happy baby. I can’t wait for next year, we will be able to do an egg hunt and it’ll be a blast.
Well, I guess that sums it all up. Lots of fun things going on. I’ll keep you posted and I’ll be posting a link of my first episode next week. Thanks for reading.
